Pick Your Own Farms

Contact us

Spotted something out of date, or run a farm you'd like listed? We'd like to hear from you. Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you.

For farm owners, the fastest way to get set up is the list your farm page.

Get in touch

Email us at [email protected] for anything — reporting a change to a listing, asking a question about a region or crop, or general feedback on the site. We're a small editorial operation, not a company with a support desk, so replies may take a day or two. We read everything, even if we can't reply to all of it.

Report a listing issue

Farms change season dates, close patches, update their prices, and occasionally close altogether. Our listings are researched and verified, but we rely on visitors and farm owners to tell us when something changes between our verification rounds.

When you email, it helps to include:

  • The farm name and the URL of its listing (something like pickyourownfarms.com.au/farms/farm-name/)
  • What's different — for example, new season dates, a closed crop, an updated phone number, or a change to booking requirements
  • A link to the farm's own website or Facebook page if you have it, so we can verify the change before we update the listing

We update listings as quickly as we can, then re-date the verification on the farm's page. If a farm has closed permanently, we remove the listing so visitors aren't sent to a dead end.

Suggest a farm we're missing

If you know of a pick-your-own farm that isn't in the directory yet, email us the name, suburb and state, and a link to where it can be verified. We'll research it against the farm's own website or social pages, contact them if needed, and publish a listing once we're confident the details are accurate. We don't list farms based on a tip alone — every entry needs a source we can verify, and we don't publish opening-hours or season claims we can't check.

We cover all eight Australian states and territories. If you're a grower in a region we've thinly covered, we'd especially like to hear from you.

Get your farm listed

If you run a pick-your-own farm or farm experience operation, you can submit your details directly through our list your farm page. Standard listings are free and include your crops, season windows, booking requirements and a link to your website. Featured placement, which gives more visible positioning on crop and region pages, is available as a paid option.

The quickest way to get listed is to email [email protected] with your farm name, suburb, the crops you grow and their rough season, your phone number, and a link to your website or Facebook. We'll come back to you once we've verified the details.

Frequently asked questions

How do I report a change to a farm listing?

Email [email protected] with the farm name and URL, what's changed, and a link to the farm's own website or social page so we can verify the update. We re-check and update listings as quickly as we can, then re-date the verification shown on the farm's page.

How do I get my farm listed on Pick Your Own Farms?

Use the form on our list your farm page or email [email protected] with your farm name, suburb, crops, typical season and a link to your website. Standard listings are free. We verify every listing before we publish it.

Do you list farm experiences like farm stays and animal encounters?

Yes. As well as pick-your-own farms, we list farm experiences including farm stays, animal encounters, farm tours, tractor and wagon rides, farm workshops and farm events. Browse the farm experiences section to see what's listed, or email us to enquire about getting an experience operation listed.

How long does it take for a listing to appear?

Once we've verified the details, new listings typically appear in the next site update. Because the site is a static build, there's a short lag between verification and publication. If you have an urgent seasonal change — for example, a crop opening earlier than expected — email us and we'll prioritise it.

I visited a farm in the directory and it was closed. What should I do?

We're sorry for the wasted trip. That's exactly the kind of feedback that improves the directory for everyone. Email us the farm name and what you found when you arrived, and we'll update the listing or remove it if the farm is no longer operating. We do ask visitors to call ahead before every trip because season dates shift with the weather — but we understand that's no consolation when a published listing is simply wrong.
