Hydroponic strawberry farm at Frances, the small settlement between Naracoorte and Bordertown, run by Sam and Adam Frost. Around 15,000 plants are grown in coconut-husk bags, fruiting from late October into May, with a farm-gate shop open through the season. The farm has opened its gates for pick-your-own on days such as Boxing Day and New Year's Day, picking until sold out, and there is a cafe doing scones with jam and cream. Please ring before you travel to check the farm is open and picking.
