A family-run orchard at Dilston, run by Brendon Morrison and his son Daniel, offering pick-your-own cherries each summer. The cherry window is short -- often only about a week once the fruit ripens -- so timing matters. Apples and pears are sold at the farm gate and at the Harvest and Evandale markets, and through the local IGA.
Swipe to see all months. Windows are typical for this state — call ahead to confirm what's ripe.

Bring a hat, closed shoes, water and cash or a card for what you pick. Rows can be uneven underfoot, so a pram may be harder going in wet weather. Facilities aren't confirmed for this farm — check when you call ahead.

You can pick Cherries, Apples and Pears at Lees Orchard, typically Dec-Jan; Mar-Dec. Fruit doesn't read a calendar — a cold snap or an early warm spell moves this, so confirm what's ripe close to the day.
