Family-run fig orchard at Borenore with more than 600 trees -- Black Genoa, Brown Turkey and White Adriatic -- some planted since the 1980s. Visitors walk the orchard and pick their own figs, and there are tastings of the jams, pastes, chutney and dried figs. It is a separate, much smaller operation from the Hillside Harvest orchard also at Borenore. Ring ahead for the current picking window.
