Tomah Farm at Mount Tomah in the Blue Mountains opens on autumn weekends (March-April) for pick-your-own chestnuts and walnuts, priced by the kilo.
Mount Tomah NSW. About 90 minutes north-west of Sydney.
Bring a hat, closed shoes, water and cash or a card for what you pick. Rows can be uneven underfoot, so a pram may be harder going in wet weather. Facilities aren't confirmed for this farm — check when you call ahead.
