Peaches in NSW typically ripen from November and run through January to February, with peak picking in December and January. Stone fruit seasons are shorter and more weather-sensitive than apple harvest — a warm spring can push opening forward by 2–3 weeks. Always call the orchard to confirm what's ripe before visiting.
Pricing varies. Pine Crest Orchard charges no entry fee and you pay per kilo. Bilpin Springs Orchard has a minimum $5 per adult fee. Cedar Creek Orchard charges from $4.50/kg. TNT Produce requires an online entry booking plus on-site payment for picked fruit. Most Central West orchards don't publish pricing — call for current season rates.
At most Bilpin and Central West orchards, peach season overlaps with nectarines, plums and sometimes late-season cherries. Pine Crest, Bilpin Fruit Bowl and Hillside Harvest all carry multiple stone-fruit varieties simultaneously, so a visit through December–January often means you can fill your basket with several different fruits in one stop.
